Sub:- Funding of the Vidyalaya from other Agencies, NTPC & SECL
Sir,
WRT the above, the following is brought for your kind consideration please
01) In Korba, we have two other project sectors who are capable of funding this vidyalaya
a) NTPC (as already informed to you vide lt no.F.26/KVBCPP/2010-11/ of which a copy enclosed).
b) SECL (South Eastern Coal fields LTD);
There are Four Independent Coal Field areas under this ;
1. KV, Kusmunda, from where I was transferred in JULY 2009.
2. GEVRA (An area about 8-10kms from KV, Kusmunda)
3. Deepika (An area about 8-10 kms from KV,Kusmunda)
4. Korba town itself (About 10-12 kms from KV, Kusmunda).
When I was the principal of KV, Kusmunda, The students were admitted from all these areas and there was tremendous rush from these areas for admissions. There is no KV, in these areas( GEVRA,DEEPIKA,KORBA).
03 In case BALCO could not be persuaded to fund this Vidyalaya, we can definitely request these (NTPC, SECL) through their ministries.
04. If you permit , I can do all necessary ground work ,and convey to you the opinions of these agencies, (as I rendered my services to the officers & other personnel of these areas also, when I was the principal of the KV, Kusmunda) even through the civil administration , Like The District Collector,: Commissioner, Municipal corporation, etc).
A 21 year old KV, coming close to the heels of closure is a very difficult matter to accommodate, Hence this information to you.

Sub:- Proposal for Admission of XI std (Humanities) – Regarding.
R/Sir,
The following points to your kind information please -
01. Two KV students have been attending this Vidyalaya whose parents are adamant enough not to admit their children is XI (Humanities) in the other Vidyalaya that is 17 KM away from here
02. They reside nearest to the Vidyalaya and undertake that they would leave only when this Vidyalaya is closed.
03. Perhaps forcing the children out of Vidyalaya is not a good action on part of the Vidyalaya.
Please let us not restrict Class XI adms as
a) Humanities stream hardly will have 2-5 students (at the most) and I have PGTs for this stream, provided by both KVS (HQ & RO – JBP).
b) Refusing admn to Class – XIstd is a confirmation that the school is set for a closure; which would make the parents of 255 other children, very restless and it is not worth while to with stand the unpredictable and volatile temperaments of these other parents of this tribal area / district.
c) Admns. to other classes can be delayed for some more time and when the final order comes (the earlier, the better) perhaps matters will get settled by themselves.
Please let us not restrict admns into Class – XIstd (Humanities) as this Vidyalaya, in its present situation, can not afford refusing a genuine request / demand from a parent of a Class – Xstd passed students.

Report of the prize giving ceremony, The Co- Curricular activities were conducted throught the session and the winners were awarded by prizes on 02/05/2008 in the school auditorium. The chief Guest of the occassion was Smt. Savita Goel. Wife of Shri S.K.Goel(Nominee Chairman, KV BCPP)
The programmer started by offering prayers to goddess saraswati invoking her blessing. The honorable principal Shri S.K.Agrawal welcomed the Chief Guest by presenting a bouquet of flowers, the whole assembly of children gave a thunderous applaud.
The In-charge CCA and Coordinator with the help of other teachers made the programme smooth and finished it in time. Beautiful prizes were given which were highly appreciated by the recipients in CCA activities the winner house was RAMAN and the House Master and associate master with captains received the running trophy.
The Chief Guest in the end blessed the children by wishing them all good wishes and told them to strive to get more and more prizes as she is ready and available to give away these prestigious awards and prizes. The vote of thanks was proposed by the coordinator. |
| 01/05/2008 - The 17th Annual Day Celebrations 2007 - 08 |
| The 17th Annual Day was celebrated on 30th April 2008 in the school premises. The Chief Guest for the occation was Shri Gunjan Gupta CEO Balco, Chairman, VMC KV BCPP. Shri Gatturam Bhav, GM BCPP was the special guest, Shri J.M.Dheer GM PRO, Shri Ranjan Saran of Nominee Chairman K.V.Balco Smt. Savita Goel Wife of Shri S.K.Goel was the Guest of honour grace the occasion. The principals of neighboring school smt.D.V.Sandhya KV NTPC, Shri Satish Sharma DPS Korba, Shri Yadav Principal, Sarashwati Shisumandir also encouraged us with their presence. Nominee Chairman Mr. S.K.Goel could not visit on the occasion due to busy schedule in Balco.
A huge decorated padal was erected in the school ground which was over flawing with dignitaries, parents and well wishes.
The Chief Guest Shri Gunjan Gupta was welcomed by the principal Shri S.K.Agrawal and each of the honorable guest were welcomed with bouquet of flowers and the badges of honored.
The report of the school activities performed regarding Academic, CCA, Games & Sports, Scouting & Guiding, Science Olympiad, Social Science Exhibition, Guiding and Counseling Cell Functioning, for the session 2007 - 2008 was presented by the worthy principal Shri S.K.Agrawal. A few prestigious prizes were given away by the chief guest. Then the cultural Bonanza started with saraswati vandana, followed by a beautiful presentation by the tiny tots of the Vidyalaya pari dance, Little girls with their glittering simmering dresses made the audience feel as if all of them were in paradise with the paries. Then came the Bam Bam Bole, which vibrated the whole stage with little boys dancing to the tune of tare zamin par.
The Environmental Problem was presented by the children presented by the children of primary section dressed as trees flowers animals and birds, which taught the human beings that trees are very essential to us and they should not be destroyed.
There were three dances, rajasthani, marathi and a chhattisgadi. All in their colorful costumes which made the audience feel that they were physically present in these status. A wonderful performance by the great Tabala Player Master Yashwant Vaishnav entralled the hearts with his Rhythem. A English Skit "The Lost Silk Hat" shawed how fluent the students are in english. The hindi Skit depicted the condition of the country but with a hope that Mother India will care and cater to the well being of all indians. A unique piece i.e., a dance showing the blending of the western dance with traditional indian was shown bringing about a fusion. The last item was a modern day disco, the rhythm made all the audience tap their feet, infact many had joined in the dance, which was enjoyed by each and every one present.
The chief Guest was highly pleased with the various items presented, He blessed the children with encouraging words of wisdom asking the students to come up to the expectation at their parents and teachers and to become the future pillars at the country.
The vote of thanks was proposed and with that the Annual Day celebration 2007 - 2008 came to a close. |

Pride of KVS & KV,BCPP Master Yashwant Vaishnav students of Class IX of this Vidyalaya has been selected by NATIONL BAL SHREE HONOUR -2007 for creative excellence in the field of creative performance in MUSIC (TablaWadan.
This award wil given by H.E.President of India The date of "Bal Shree" Honour function is to be finalised in future.

| Report on "NAEP"
An advocacy programme for parent's and students's was organised on 24/01/2008 at 12:30 Pm in the school auditiorium. The programme started by the welcome of guests and parents.
Two Guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Kumbhkar and Dr. M.M. sabde.
One skit regarding the topic was performed by calss IXth students.
One question answer session was discussed with Dr. sabde. Many question regarding Aids were asked by students.
Tea & biscuit was served among the particpants & Guest. At last, last vote of thanks was given by the Sinior most teacher Mr. H.A.T.H. Shahedi. |
